STUDENTS’ PERCEPTIONS OF THE USE OF DIGITAL AND PRINTED TEXTBOOKS

چکیده

The introduction of technology has changed how students perceive and prefer learning knowledge acquisition, specifically in choosing types textbooks. In addition to the printed textbook, many textbooks are now also available digital formats. purposes this study were, firstly, determine perceived secondly know their reading preference. Using purposive random sampling, qualitative data was obtained through interviews with six from three different semesters English Education Study Program Sriwijaya University Palembang, selected on basis ability level. findings were analysed terms frequency students’ use advantages disadvantages, preferences indicated that importance both paper equally for activities. Furthermore, preferred read None rated one format better than other.
